DU School of Law Donates Books to Ethiopian Law Schools
Duquesne University School of Law donated over 700 library books this week to two Ethiopian law schools: the Addis Ababa and Mekelle law schools. The project was coordinated by Mr. Tsegaye Beru, Assistant Director of Public Services at the Duquesne Center for Legal Information. The donation is part of a new professional relationship between the Duquesne University School of Law and law schools in Ethiopia. Until recently, little work has been done between American law schools and the African academic legal community. This outreach initiative is designed to promote the exchange of international academic legal scholarship and the development of a new national reporter system for the Supreme Court of Ethiopia.
We hope to continue Duquesne’s tradition of service, both locally and abroad.
